The safety of our members, their families, and the community is always at the forefront of RSES. Safety is taught throughout our careers and the latest issue related to our trade is the huffing (inhaling) of refrigerant gasses, mostly by teenagers as a cheap way to get high.
One of the big pushes in our industry as of late is the installation of locking schreader caps on any accessibly unit to prevent easy access to refrigerant for the purposes of huffing.
